Put the free rate calculator on your site
If you publish for small businesses — a bookkeeping practice, a CPA firm, a business blog, a chamber or association site — your readers and clients ask the same question ours do: "Am I overpaying to accept cards?" The Processing Signal effective-rate calculator answers it in two numbers. It is free to embed, it carries no advertising, and this page explains exactly what it is and is not.
What it is
- A two-number calculator. Your visitor enters monthly card volume and total fees; the calculator returns their effective rate and a plain-English verdict band. That is the whole interaction — no account, no statement upload, nothing sensitive.
- An optional email capture. If — and only if — a visitor chooses to enter their email, they can request a free processing-cost audit. The audit is performed by a career merchant-services specialist, and any statement changes hands through a secure channel arranged by the specialist, never through the calculator or your site.
- Free, with attribution. The embed is a single iframe snippet (see the embed page). No fees, no revenue share to negotiate, no tracking pixels of ours on your pages.
What it is not
- Processing Signal is not a payment processor. It does not process payments, hold merchant accounts, or underwrite anything. It is an education and audit-request service. Please don't describe the embed as a processing product.
- It makes no rate promises. The calculator reports the visitor's own arithmetic. Any savings question is answered only after a real statement audit, and any figures from an audit are estimates subject to underwriting.
Who it fits
Sites whose audience runs card volume: bookkeepers and CPAs (whose clients bring them statements), restaurant and retail consultants, small-business bloggers, and local business associations. If your audience doesn't accept cards, it won't serve them; if it does, the calculator is the page they bookmark.
Questions before embedding — or a hand with the snippet — start with the audit form's contact route and mention "embed".
Want your real number, not the brochure rate?
Run your two numbers in the calculator, or start the free audit with just your email. A specialist works from your actual statement and shows your true effective rate in plain English — the report is yours to keep, there is no obligation to switch, and statements are arranged through a secure channel, never through this website.
